About Us

Uptown Glassworks is located in downtown Renton, Washington in a historical landmark building full of charm and character. Over the past century it has undergone many transformations, starting as a stable, to a bus depot, to a mechanic shop, and taking one last alteration to turn into a glass studio 18 years ago. We strive to bring fine art, beauty and a one of a kind experience with lasting memories to the local community, you, and your families. While Uptown Glassworks has a beautiful gallery, it is so much more than a small local art store. We teach our students, new and old, how to handle glass and express themselves in their work. We hold private events, birthday parties, weddings, classes and workshops with an amazing staff that will welcome you all.
